The Sukuna–Mahoraga fight is in Jujutsu Kaisen episode 41, Season 2 episode 17, “Thunderclap, Part 2.” “Finished version” refers to the later Japanese Blu-ray/DVD cut, which the official announcement says adds some cuts and corrects footage compared with the 2023 TV and streaming version. Those are documented revisions—not proof that every viewer prefers the revised cut.
What episode is Sukuna vs. Mahoraga?
The fight appears in episode 41 overall, the seventeenth episode of Season 2. Its Japanese title is “Thunderclap, Part 2” (霹靂-弐-). The official episode synopsis sets up the encounter: after being gravely injured in a fight with Toji, Megumi is ambushed by Haruta, reaches a major intersection close to death, and summons a shikigami with his Ten Shadows Technique.

What does “finished version” mean?
It means the home-video version of episode 41, not a separate episode or a newly announced remake. In a March 4, 2024 announcement, the official site described the Blu-ray/DVD version as including some added cuts and corrected footage compared with the 2023 television broadcast and streaming version. The announcement establishes that the footage was revised; it does not say that every change transforms the fight or that all viewers will prefer this version.
Where can you find the revised cut?
The Japanese release is Jujutsu Kaisen: Shibuya Incident Vol. 4, released on March 20, 2024. Its official Blu-ray/DVD listing says it contains episodes 39–41 and gives the product codes TBR33205D for Blu-ray and TDV33206D for DVD.

Check the specific edition before buying: the listing identifies the Japanese release, but the information here does not establish current stock, price, region compatibility, subtitle options, or whether a particular disc will work with your setup. The 2023 TV/streaming cut is the more convenient option if you already have access to it; the Japanese disc is the documented route to the revised home-video episode.

The official episode synopsis confirms the setup, while the home-video announcement confirms added cuts and corrected footage. Neither source provides a shot-by-shot change list, so it is not possible to identify each altered moment from those materials alone. They also do not establish a measured audience response. “Blows away fans” is a promotional framing, not an official viewership or fan-reaction statistic.

For series context, the official story page says the manga began in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018 and concluded in September 2024. It reports 150 million cumulative copies in circulation worldwide, including digital editions; the page does not give a separate date for that figure.
