The June 8, 2025, NYT Connections puzzle is game #728. Below are progressive hints, followed by the four category answers and all 16 words. Stop before the spoiler break if you are still solving.
How Connections works
The New York Times Help Center explains: “Players are given 16 words and must find groups of four items that share something in common.” The four groups are color-coded yellow, green, blue, and purple, from easiest to trickiest. Some words may appear to fit more than one group, so look for the connection that accounts for exactly four words.
The daily puzzle releases at midnight in the player’s timezone. Connections is available through the NYT Games website and app, the News app, and The Athletic, and the Help Center says it can be played without registering. The June 8, 2025 puzzle is within the archive’s stated range, which begins June 12, 2023; archive access requires an eligible Games or All Access subscription. Check the current archive access steps and eligibility with the NYT Games Help Center.
