What is the film about?
The Merry Gentlemen is a 2024 Netflix comedy described by Tudum as a holiday romantic comedy. Ashley returns from New York after her dancing work ends and tries to save her parents’ small-town nightclub, the Rhythm Room, by staging an all-male Christmas revue. Robertson told Tudum that Ashley combines her dancing and choreography skills with “some hot dudes at the bar” to make the show.
#1 Best Overall
Murray told Tudum that preparing to dance was new to him: “It was something that I’d never done. I said, ‘Oh, this scares the crap out of me. I’ve got to do this,’ ” he reveals. Peter Sullivan directed the film, and Sokoloff wrote the screenplay, according to Tudum.
