That is a concrete sign of sequel progress—not a premiere date. As of October 8, 2026, the official announcements and Crunchyroll’s streaming notice reviewed here do not establish when the new season will air.
Is Gachiakuta Season 2 confirmed?
Yes. Avex Pictures announced Season 2 production on December 22, 2025, one day after Season 1 ended. The anime’s official site also carries a Season 2 confirmation banner. The announcement confirms a sequel is being made, but does not give a broadcast date.
When does Gachiakuta Season 2 come out?
No exact premiere date has been announced in the official materials or Crunchyroll notice reviewed as of October 8, 2026. The latest dated preview milestone established by the official news page is the announcement of a Season 2 First Look PV on July 29, 2026. The site also lists a follow-and-repost campaign for the PV on August 10. Those updates show that preview activity had begun; neither date is an air date.

The “sooner than expected” angle is therefore best understood as a sign of visible progress, not evidence of a near-term premiere. Season 1 began on July 6, 2025, ran for two consecutive cours, and concluded with episode 24 on December 21, 2025. That schedule cannot establish Season 2’s release window, length, or episode count.
Where can you watch Season 2?
Crunchyroll included Gachiakuta Season 2 in a June 2026 announcement of future streaming titles. That confirms a planned streaming home, but not a premiere date or availability in every country. Check the Crunchyroll listing for your territory for local details as they are posted.

What to read while you wait
The anime adapts the ongoing Kodansha manga, written by Kei Urana with graffiti design by Hideyoshi Andou. The series began serialization in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in February 2022, and the official anime site links to the original comic. Readers who want to continue the story can start with the manga; the available official information does not specify which chapters a future Season 2 will adapt.
Avex’s December 2025 announcement listed manga volumes 1–17 as released at that time. That is a historical count, not a current inventory or volume total.
