Fallout Season 2 was announced for December 2025—and it has since premiered. Amazon later specified a December 17, 2025 premiere, with eight episodes released weekly through a finale scheduled for February 4, 2026.
What month did Fallout Season 2 come out?
Amazon first announced the release month as December 2025 in its May 2025 Prime Video lineup announcement. That announcement also said the season would travel through the Mojave toward New Vegas.

A later Amazon Japan announcement gave the premiere date as December 17, 2025, and said the series would stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories. It described an eight-episode weekly rollout, with the finale scheduled for February 4, 2026.
Is Fallout Season 2 already out?
Yes. The season has completed its announced rollout. The Prime Video Season 2 listing shows eight episodes and currently displays December 15, 2025 for episode one. That listing date differs from the December 17 premiere date in Amazon Japan’s announcement; the two sources do not explain the discrepancy, so they should be treated as separate published dates rather than silently reconciled.

Where does Season 2 go?
Amazon’s announcements place the story in the Mojave and New Vegas, continuing the show’s journey through the world of the Fallout games. The release schedule confirms when the season arrived; it does not, by itself, establish any further plot details.
