Hints for Strands #259

The theme points to notable sights and structures—not words that are synonyms for “look.” Forbes’s hint was “Go see some sights,” while Parade described the entries as notable and iconic structures.

Spoilers: spangram and answers

Spangram: LANDMARKS

How the answers fit the theme

About the puzzle

Forbes describes Strands as a word-search-style game played on a six-by-eight letter grid, where players connect letters vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. Theme words highlight blue, and the spangram highlights yellow. Forbes reported that the game could be played on the NYT website and in the NYT Games app. Forbes’s November 16, 2024, guide and Parade’s November 17 guide independently confirm the theme, spangram, and answer list; TechRadar’s guide confirms the date, puzzle number, and theme.
