The status has since changed. The official anime website now lists Season 3 Part 2 for broadcast in 2027.
What happened at the Anime Expo panel?
A summary attributed to FandomWire, reproduced in an IMDb search result and published July 17, 2025, says the One-Punch Man panel took place on July 5 and concluded without a new trailer or release date, while cast members discussed Season 3. The underlying article was not directly available, and no official transcript or recording was verified, so those details should be treated as a secondary account rather than a confirmed panel transcript. That lack of a concrete announcement is the basis for the headline’s disappointment; “sad day” is an editorial characterization, not an official description of the event or a measurable response from all fans.
What is the current Season 3 Part 2 status?
As of October 8, 2026, the official One-Punch Man anime website displays an announcement for Season 3 Part 2 with a 2027 broadcast. That is the current timing stated by the official site; the cited announcement does not establish a more specific date here. Check the official One-Punch Man anime website.

In other words, the 2025 panel’s reported lack of a release date is no longer the latest update. The official site now gives a year for Part 2, though not a day or month.

One-Punch Man is also a manga created by One and Yusuke Murata. Viz Media is identified as its English-language publisher in a reproduced Crunchyroll report. The manga and anime are distinct ways to follow the franchise: an anime broadcast announcement does not itself say when or how a particular manga volume will be published.
