The former PayScale headquarters in Seattle’s Palmer Building became a holiday attraction in 2025: an adults-only evening Elf Bar and a family-friendly daytime experience called Kringle’s Inventionasium. That was a temporary use of the former office, not a permanent bar. For 2026, LIT Immersive lists a separate Christmas Towne event at Westlake Center; current listings do not establish that the Palmer Building will host the Elf Bar again.
What was the Elf Bar in Seattle?
The 2025 Elf Bar was a ticketed, 21-and-older holiday pop-up created by LIT Immersive in part of the former PayScale headquarters. The Palmer Building is in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood, directly west of Lumen Field. GeekWire reported that the project used 18,000 square feet for themed experiences, including the bar’s evening activities. GeekWire’s 2025 report
The Elf Bar offered themed cocktails, holiday trivia, a karaoke lounge, a snowball fight club and games. GeekWire reported reservations in three evening time slots and a planned run through December 21, 2025. Co-founder Jason DeLeo said the run might be extended depending on demand, but the report does not confirm that an extension took place.
What happened to the former PayScale headquarters?
LIT Immersive founders Jason DeLeo and Jen Matthews took over part of the office about 18 months before the December 2025 report. Rather than start with an empty shell, they reused much of the office’s infrastructure and equipment. DeLeo described the space this way: “Almost everything is still here from (PayScale),” including microwaves, dishwashers and a kegerator. The former office sports bar was reused, and second-floor break rooms became a green room.

DeLeo also said the location appealed to the team because it was “fully networked.” GeekWire reported that the retained infrastructure saved “hundreds of thousands of dollars” on the buildout; that is an estimate attributed to the founders, not an audited cost figure.
GeekWire reported that PayScale moved its headquarters to Boston in March 2025. It also reported that the company had been valued at $325 million following a private-equity investment in 2019; that figure describes the historical valuation event, not a current valuation.

What was the daytime holiday attraction?
Alongside the 21+ evening bar, the former office hosted Kringle’s Inventionasium, a kid-friendly daytime experience inspired by a long-running Cleveland show. GeekWire said it was scheduled to run through December 24, 2025. The two offerings therefore served different audiences and schedules: a reserved evening bar visit for adults and a daytime holiday attraction for families.
Where is the Elf Bar now, and is it open in 2026?
The 2025 Palmer Building run has ended. LIT Immersive’s official site lists Christmas Towne at Westlake Center, 400 Pine Street, on select dates from November 27 through December 24, 2026. It describes a family-oriented immersive event with optional add-ons and an Elfies Bar for guests 21 and older. The listing says final ticket prices and complete hours will be announced later.
