Tires is a workplace comedy set among the employees of an auto repair shop. Its blue-collar setting and unruly workplace humor are central to the premise, making it a comedy about shop life—not a documentary or a guide to car repair.
What is Tires about?
The series follows employees at an auto repair shop, using the routines and frictions of a blue-collar workplace as the setting for comedy. Netflix classifies it as a TV comedy and describes it with the tags “workplace,” “cars,” “deadpan,” and “raunchy.” Those are Netflix’s labels for the show’s tone and subject, not a promise that every viewer will find the humor appealing.

The shop is a comic setting, not evidence that the series represents every repair business or its workers. It is also not an automotive advice program: the focus is the workplace comedy.
Who created and stars in the series?
Shane Gillis, Steve Gerben, and John McKeever co-created Tires. Netflix lists Shane Gillis, Steve Gerben, and Chris O’Connor among the stars; the Associated Press also identifies Gerben and Gillis as leads.
