Delico’s Nursery is a 2024 TV anime in the TRUMP series. Its hook is an unusual contrast: aristocratic vampires face a dangerous murder mystery while Dali Delico, a powerful council member, takes on the care of young children. The result brings supernatural intrigue into a story about the demands of parenting.
What is Delico’s Nursery about?
Dali Delico is an elite member of the Blood Pact Council, but he refuses an assigned mission. When fellow council members find him caring for small children, his private responsibilities collide with the work he has set aside. At the same time, serial murders targeting vampire-kind raise the stakes: the suspected organization Pendulum and the crimes themselves are connected to Dali’s past.
The official premise sets up two intertwined modes of story: a gothic conspiracy and murder mystery, and the domestic challenges of raising children. The childcare is not merely background to the supernatural plot; it is the unexpected responsibility that puts the characters’ public duties and private lives in tension.
Is it a vampire anime?
Yes. The official site describes a gothic world of aristocratic vampire characters, and vampire-kind are at the center of both the council’s work and the murder investigation. Its distinct angle is pairing that dark political and supernatural setting with childcare, rather than focusing only on vampire conflict.

How does it connect to the TRUMP series?
Delico’s Nursery belongs to the TRUMP franchise, which began with playwright Kenichi Suemitsu’s original stage work in 2009. The official introduction describes a world where vampire-kind and human-kind coexist in opposition, shaped by the legend of TRUMP, a vampire said to possess eternal life. The anime is presented as a new story in that larger setting.
That background gives the series a wider mythology, but the anime’s central setup is also clear on its own: Dali’s refusal of a mission, his childcare duties, and the murders targeting vampires. The franchise context adds a larger supernatural history around those events.
