PWInsider reported on May 16, 2024, that Tiffany Stratton was not in trouble internally with WWE over an offensive-audio clip she had shared online. The report said the rumor that her Queen of the Ring match against Bianca Belair had been pulled was false. This was backstage reporting based on unnamed sources, not a public statement from WWE.
What did PWInsider report?
In a May 16, 2024 report, PWInsider’s Mike Johnson wrote: “After speaking to several credible sources, we are told she’s absolutely not in trouble for anything internally within WWE and that Stratton’s been nothing but praised by management and other talents since moving to the main roster a few months back.” The sources were not named, and the report was not attributed to a named WWE official. PWInsider also said Stratton’s scheduled Queen of the Ring tournament match against Bianca Belair had not been pulled. That directly addressed online speculation connecting the match to the clip.
What was in the clip?
According to Cageside Seats, on May 14 Stratton shared a fan-edited video in her Instagram Story. It used footage from an eight-woman tag match on the May 3 SmackDown in France, pairing Stratton’s action against Jade Cargill with offensive audio. The objection concerned the added audio in the edit, not dialogue from the original match footage. The Story was quickly deleted, though copies circulated. Read Cageside Seats’ account.

The available reporting does not establish what Stratton heard before posting or whether she knowingly endorsed the audio.
What did Stratton say about the post?
In an interview with Adrian Hernandez ahead of Money in the Bank 2024, Stratton described it as an honest mistake. NoDQ’s July 5, 2024 recap quotes her: “It was an honest mistake. I didn’t hear the audio. I had it up for maybe 20 seconds and I deleted it instantly as soon as I heard the audio. It was an honest mistake.” Read NoDQ’s recap.

What can be concluded from the reporting?
- PWInsider reported on May 16, 2024, citing unnamed sources, that Stratton was not in trouble internally with WWE.
- That same report said her match against Bianca Belair had not been pulled.
- Stratton later said she did not hear the audio before posting and deleted the Story after hearing it.
- The available sources do not independently establish her intent, and they do not provide a later public WWE confirmation of the backstage report.
