As of the 2026 Grammy Awards, Aura V is the youngest individually credited Grammy winner: she was 8 years and 211 days old when she won Best Children’s Music Album for Harmony with her father, FYÜTCH, on February 1, 2026. The answer depends on how the award credits are counted: Guinness World Records separately identifies Leah Peasall as the youngest winner who was not individually credited.

Why Aura V holds the current overall record
Guinness World Records lists Aura V as the youngest individually credited winner after the 68th Annual Grammy Awards on February 1, 2026. Her award was for Best Children’s Music Album, shared with FYÜTCH for Harmony. The Associated Press also reported their win and noted other young Grammy winners, including Leah Peasall and Blue Ivy Carter. Associated Press
How the record changed: Blue Ivy Carter
Before Aura V’s 2026 win, Blue Ivy Carter held the youngest individually credited winner distinction. She was 9 years and 66 days old when she won Best Music Video as a featured artist on “BROWN SKIN GIRL” at the 2021 ceremony. Guinness now lists Aura V as the record holder. Guinness World Records
Category records are a different comparison
LeAnn Rimes: youngest Best New Artist
LeAnn Rimes won Best New Artist at age 14 in 1997, and also received that year’s Best Female Country Vocal Performance award. The Recording Academy calls her the youngest Best New Artist winner; this is a record within one category, not the current youngest-winner record overall. Recording Academy

Taylor Swift: a separate Album of the Year milestone
Taylor Swift was 20 when Fearless won Album of the Year at the 2010 ceremony. Her Recording Academy profile, updated through the 2026 Grammy Awards, describes her as the first and only artist to win Album of the Year four times. Neither accomplishment makes her the youngest Grammy winner; they are age and category comparisons of their own. Recording Academy
Why “Grammy winner” lists may differ
A Grammy can recognize different kinds of contributions, and the credited recipients vary by category. The Recording Academy explains that Record of the Year recognizes an artist’s performance and eligible production contributions, while Song of the Year recognizes songwriters. Its category archive covers awards for performers, writers, producers, engineers, album contributors and other roles. For a fair age comparison, distinguish an individually credited winner from a group member or featured artist, and distinguish an overall record from a category-specific one. Compare age on the ceremony date, the award category and the year; a nomination is not a win.
