Using Forbes’ 2026 celebrity-billionaire roster as a starting point, nine entertainment figures make a defensible Hollywood-focused selection: Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, James Cameron, Jerry Seinfeld, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tyler Perry, Dick Wolf, Peter Jackson and Oprah Winfrey. They are not all actors, and Forbes does not publish a definitive Hollywood-only list. Its broader roster also includes athletes and other entertainers.
Who qualifies as a Hollywood billionaire?
Here, “Hollywood A-lister” means a widely recognized film, television or media figure whose career or business is substantially connected to entertainment. That includes directors, creators, producers and media entrepreneurs as well as performers. It is an editorial scope, not a category Forbes uses for its billionaire ranking.

The nine names below are an entertainment-focused selection from that roster, not a claim that these are the only wealthy figures in Hollywood or that Forbes labels them all A-listers.

Forbes’ profiles describe varied sources of wealth across its roster, including entertainment income, licensing, business ownership and other ventures; a performer’s salary is only one possible part of the picture.

What Forbes’ billionaire figures mean
Forbes’ 2026 feature reports 22 celebrity billionaires with a combined estimated net worth of $48.1 billion. Those estimates are dated March 1, 2026. They cover the full celebrity category, not just the nine entertainment-focused names above, so the total cannot be attributed to Hollywood alone.
Net worth estimates are not the same as cash on hand, annual income or an audited accounting of personal assets. Forbes presents estimates, and fortunes can change as asset values, business conditions and other factors shift. The valuation date matters whenever these figures are quoted.

These are Forbes totals for its broad celebrity category. The increase between editions does not establish that four Hollywood A-listers became billionaires: the roster includes athletes and other kinds of entertainers, and a year-to-year change in a published list is not by itself evidence of why the count changed.
