In Season 26 of The Voice, Reba McEntire reportedly used the show’s Coach Replay to bring singer Kendall Eugene onto her team after she had initially passed on him. The Replay was a coach’s second chance to select an artist—not a button for replaying a video, and not the audience-voted Instant Save.
What Reba’s Replay reportedly did
A September 23, 2024 report by Parade says Reba used the first Coach Replay of Season 26 to save Kendall Eugene after his performance of “Don’t Think Jesus.” In the report’s account, Replay gave a coach an opportunity to reconsider an artist who had not initially earned a team selection.
The specific Reba–Eugene incident is reported by Parade; the available official NBC materials do not independently confirm that episode detail. It is therefore best described as a reported Season 26 moment, rather than an officially verified event.
How Coach Replay differs from the regular audition button
During Blind Auditions, coaches use buttons to select artists for their teams. NBC’s casting information describes the basic mechanism: “If a coach is impressed by the artist’s voice, he/she pushes a button to select the artist for his/her team.” Coach Replay, as described in the Season 26 coverage, was a reconsideration within that coach-selection process.

Coach Replay is not the Instant Save

The two mechanisms differ in both timing and decision-maker: Replay concerns a coach’s selection, while Instant Save is an audience vote in a later round. The Season 13 archive illustrates the Instant Save format; it does not establish that the same details applied in Season 26.
Where Reba fits in the show’s current era
Reba’s reported Replay belongs to Season 26 in 2024, not the current panel. As of October 8, 2026, Peacock’s The Voice page lists Queen Latifah, Riley Green, Kelly Clarkson, and Adam Levine as Season 30 coaches and identifies Reba as a past coach. NBCUniversal’s September 17, 2026 announcement also names that Season 30 panel and says the season premiered September 21, 2026.

Watching and participating with the official app
The Voice Official App supports play-along and voting, according to NBC’s Help Center. NBC notes that app timing follows the NBC television broadcast feed. If you watch on a digital stream that is delayed, an app prompt may not line up with what appears on your screen; the app’s timing is tied to the NBC broadcast, not necessarily every streaming feed. The app’s voting is audience participation and should not be confused with a coach’s Replay.
