She has not disclosed what it said.
What was the Friends Cookie Time jar?
The jar was a distinctive, clock-shaped cookie jar seen in Monica’s apartment. Its “Cookie Time” wording made it a small but recognizable part of the show’s familiar set. Paramount’s listing for Kudrow’s 2025 interview describes it as the Cookie Time jar Perry gave her from the Friends set (Paramount Press Express).
Why did Matthew Perry give it to Lisa Kudrow?
Kudrow said Perry gave her the jar at the end of their last episode together. “Matthew gave that to me at the end of our last episode,” she recalled, in an account of her January 7, 2025 appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show reported by Yahoo Entertainment. The sources establish that it was a personal gift; they do not explain why Perry chose that particular prop.
What did Lisa Kudrow find inside the jar?
Years after receiving it, Kudrow found a note Perry had left inside. She did not reveal its contents. Her brief reaction, as reported in the interview account, was: “Timing is everything.” The discovery gives the prop a more intimate significance, but the note’s message remains private.

Who made Monica’s Cookie Time jar?
The available accounts do not identify the maker of the exact screen-used prop or document its complete chain of custody. A secondary collector reference describes a vintage Treasure Craft Friends Cookie Time jar as clock-shaped, but that is not proof that Treasure Craft made the original jar used on the set. The reference also reproduces one historical eBay sale of a related jar for $1,500 in 2021; that single past sale is not a current valuation or a market average (Cookie Jar Price Reference).
