For comparison, ABC’s current viewing guidance, dated September 22, 2026, describes Season 35’s live simulcast on ABC and Disney+, with episodes available on demand the next day on ABC.com and Hulu. Those Season 35 arrangements should not be applied retroactively to Season 33.

ABC7 reported that Graziadei and Johnson earned the night’s only perfect score for their foxtrot, while Kinney and Armstrong tied them at the top of the semifinal totals. Those were semifinal results, not a prediction of the finale outcome.

Who was expected to return?
The preview announced that Season 32 champions Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy would return to dance to “Pink Pony Club.” It also announced a performance by Mark Ballas with judge Derek Hough to “Libertango.” These were pre-broadcast plans; the available information does not verify the performances’ eventual outcomes.

Soares’s preview described Graziadei as the first male Bachelor lead to reach a DWTS finale, and Kinney and Armstrong as the first Black couple to perform at one. Those are claims attributed to the preview rather than independently verified here.
