The ceremony also hosted the film’s world-premiere trailer. Calling the appearance a show-stealer is an opinion, not a measured audience verdict—but the size of the ensemble made it one of the night’s most memorable award presentations.
What the cast did at The Game Awards
The cast took the stage to present Best Ongoing Game, an award that went to No Man’s Sky, according to PC Gamer’s event report. The report emphasized the unusually large group of presenters; its playful suggestion of a record is not evidence of a verified awards-show record.
The Game Awards’ official channel also released the film’s world-premiere trailer from the ceremony. Its upload says the event was live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on December 11, 2025: watch the Street Fighter movie world-premiere trailer.

The lineup brings together performers from film, professional wrestling, music, and sport. Capcom’s September 5, 2025 announcement names a wider cast for the movie, including Eric André, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Hirooki Goto, Alexander Volkanovski, and Kyle Mooney, among others. Its announcement lists the film as a collaboration with Legendary Entertainment: Capcom’s cast announcement.
Why “stole the show” needs a qualification
The coverage establishes that the cast appeared together, presented an award, and helped launch the film’s trailer at the event. It does not quantify audience reaction or show that viewers ranked the appearance above every other moment. “Stole the show” works as a lively description of the ensemble’s scale, not as a statistical claim about the ceremony.
