Who was in The Great Australian Bake Off’s 2024 cast?
Foxtel Group announced the Season 7 lineup on 17 August 2024. The season paired hosts Natalie Tran and Cal Wilson with judges Rachel Khoo and Darren Purchese, and introduced 12 new amateur bakers. The broadcaster’s announcement highlighted three contestants, but these names are examples rather than a complete cast list.
- Adrian Barila, a theatre performer who incorporated his Italian heritage into his baking.
- Jaden Briggs, a Gunai Kurnai and Yorta Yorta man who used native ingredients.
- Laurina Bowlen, a designer known for sculptured fondant cakes.
Foxtel Group’s Season 7 announcement described the series as a 10-part season premiering on Foxtel and BINGE on 18 September 2024, with episodes released weekly.
How did Season 7 honour Cal Wilson?
Wilson appears in four episodes of Season 7, according to Foxtel. The broadcaster explicitly framed the season as a tribute to her, giving viewers another chance to see her on the show after her death.
