Yes. Black Mirror: Thronglets is a real mobile game released by Netflix on 10 April 2025. How do you download and start playing?
- Check compatibility. Netflix lists Android 14 or later, iOS 16 or later, iPadOS 16 or later, and at least 2 GB of RAM. Make sure your device also has enough free storage.
- Find the game. Open the Netflix app and look in the Mobile Games row or use the Games shortcut, or search for Thronglets in Google Play or Apple’s App Store. The official listings are available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Install and sign in. Open the store listing, install the app, then sign in with your Netflix account and choose a profile.
- Begin caring for your Thronglets. Tend to the creatures, gather resources, and use what you collect to expand your society.

What do you do in the game?
The basic loop starts with looking after individual Thronglets: feed them, keep them clean, and entertain them. As the community grows, resource gathering lets you unlock structures and tools. The Google Play description frames the experience with questions such as “What is care? What is love?” and “What is death? What is power?” These are prompts from the game, not factual claims about its mechanics.
