Disney said all 10 episodes would be available at once in the U.S.; its announcement did not specify the Canadian episode-release pattern.
When did The Bear Season 3 come to Disney+ in Canada?
Disney announced on May 9, 2024, that Season 3 would debut on Disney+ in Canada on June 27. The same announcement named Hulu as the U.S. service and set the U.S. premiere for that date. D23’s announcement did not give an exact Canadian launch time.
Disney’s June 28, 2024 Disney+ monthly roundup listed The Bear (Season 3) among titles then streaming. That confirms availability by June 28, but does not establish the precise time the season became available in Canada.
Did Canada and the U.S. get the season on the same day?
Yes, the announced date was the same: June 27, 2024. The platforms differed by country—Disney+ in Canada and Hulu in the U.S.—so the announcement supports a same-day premiere, not identical catalog terms or launch hours.

For the U.S. release, D23 stated: “The new season is set to debut on Thursday, June 27, exclusively on Hulu in the U.S. with all 10 episodes available at the same time.” The announcement did not explicitly say that all 10 episodes would arrive at once in Canada.
What was Season 3 about?
Disney’s description followed Carmy, Sydney, and Richie as they worked to elevate the restaurant while trying to keep it in business. The restaurant had grown from a beef stand into a fine-dining establishment. The official announcement framed the new season around the pressure of that transition.
What did Disney report about the premiere?
In a July 1, 2024 corporate report, The Walt Disney Company said Season 3 generated 5.4 million global views during its first four streaming days, a 24% increase over Season 2’s premiere. These were company-reported global figures, not measurements of Canadian viewership. Disney’s report describes the comparison and the measurement window.

The cited announcements establish its 2024 release and availability by June 28, but do not verify whether Season 3 remains in Canada’s Disney+ catalog now. Disney’s May 6, 2026 announcement said prior seasons were streaming on Disney+ internationally, but did not specifically confirm the Canadian catalog.
