Highest-grossing X-Men movies worldwide

What counts as an X-Men movie here?
This list uses the franchise boundary in The Numbers’ table, which groups the main X-Men films with the Deadpool movies, Wolverine solo films, and The New Mutants. That is a database classification, not the only possible definition of “X-Men movie.” The table counts 14 distinct theatrical films for this ranking. Once Upon a Deadpool is not an additional film entry here: Box Office Mojo identifies it as a 2018 re-release of Deadpool 2 in its X-Men franchise listing.
How to read the ranking and its figures
It is a worldwide ranking, not a domestic one
A domestic-only ranking answers a different question. Box Office Mojo’s surfaced franchise table ranks by domestic lifetime gross and lists Deadpool at $363,070,709 domestic and Deadpool 2 at $318,491,426 domestic. Those domestic figures do not determine their order in the worldwide list above.

Box-office databases can report different totals
For example, The Numbers lists X-Men: Days of Future Past at $747,862,775 worldwide, while Box Office Mojo’s comparison page reports $746,045,700. This ranking consistently uses The Numbers rather than mixing trackers or treating their totals as interchangeable.
The top three are close—except for the leader
Deadpool 2 is ahead of Deadpool by $4,414,679 in The Numbers’ worldwide figures. By comparison, Deadpool & Wolverine leads the second-place film by more than $550 million on the same measure. For context, The Numbers reports Deadpool & Wolverine at $636,745,858 domestic and $1,338,073,645 worldwide.
