The first look at the live-action Masters of the Universe arrived in February 2025: Nicholas Galitzine appears as He-Man, carrying the Sword of Power. The image makes the character’s powerful build and oversized weapon its focus, while giving the familiar sword design a worn finish.
What the first-look image shows
Germain Lussier’s Gizmodo report published February 24, 2025, identified the figure as Galitzine’s He-Man and the weapon as the Sword of Power. Its shape recalls versions seen in the toys and animated series, but the live-action prop looks weathered rather than pristine. The accompanying studio caption read: “I have the power! To show you the first image from Masters of the Universe.”
