NCIS: Tony & Ziva will not return for a second season. Paramount+ canceled the spin-off after its first season, with the decision reported on December 19, 2025. Its October finale gives Tony and Ziva a comparatively settled ending, though an unused alternate version could have led into another season.
Will NCIS: Tony & Ziva have a Season 2?
No. Paramount+ canceled the series after one season, according to TVLine and TV Insider, which reported the decision on December 19, 2025. The reports do not indicate that a second season is proceeding.
Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo returned as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David for the reunion series. Paramount announced a September 4, 2025 premiere, with the first three episodes released together, and described the season as ten episodes. The story follows Tony and Ziva after they reunite in Paris: when an attack targets Tony’s security company, the pair go on the run across Europe with their daughter, Tali. Paramount’s press archive announced the premiere and episode count.
How did the series end?
The released season finale aired in October 2025. TVLine reports that Tony and Ziva complete their mission and tell Tali they want to start dating again. That resolution gives their relationship a forward-looking close, but it does not amount to a second-season order.

Why was NCIS: Tony & Ziva canceled?
The cancellation reports do not quote Paramount+ or CBS Studios giving a reason. TheWrap mentioned leadership changes at Paramount+ around the time, but did not establish them as the cause. The available reporting therefore does not support attributing the decision to ratings, costs, platform strategy, or a particular executive.

It also reported, citing Nielsen data, that 80% of the audience was 50 or older. Those figures describe the launch period and reported audience profile; they do not establish why the series was canceled. TheWrap’s report is the source for both figures.
