Rolling Stone MENA’s 75 Best Arabic Songs of 2025 is an editorial selection, not an official chart or a universal ranking. Its companion Spotify playlist opens with Lella Fadda’s “Tarat Tarat Tat,” followed by E Draganov’s “Psycho” and Fadel Chaker and Mohamed Chaker’s “Kifek 3A Fra2e.”
What are the best Arabic songs of 2025?
There is no single definitive answer: “best” depends on whether you mean an editor’s judgment, songs gaining listeners, or a playlist for discovering new releases. Rolling Stone MENA’s list is a curated selection of 75 standout songs and cultural moments. Its own introduction frames the year through established and emerging pop performers, Mediterranean R&B, Moroccan rap, introspective and political lyrics, regional-diasporic crossovers, softer mahraganat, and indie pop from Saudi Arabia to Syria. That is the publication’s editorial reading of the year, not a measured finding about the entire Arabic music industry.

- “Tarat Tarat Tat” — Lella Fadda
- “Psycho” — E Draganov
- “Kifek 3A Fra2e” — Fadel Chaker and Mohamed Chaker
- “El Hob Gany” — TUL8TE
- “Law Nasyany” — Lege-Cy and Ismail Nosrat

The playlist order is a convenient listening route; it should not be mistaken for an independently verified popularity ranking.
How does this editorial selection differ from Arabic music charts?
An editorial list and a chart answer different questions. Rolling Stone MENA’s selections reflect the publication’s choices about standout music and cultural moments. Anghami’s chart categories, by contrast, include Arabic hits and country-level top songs, with daily and weekly updates, according to its Help Center article updated August 21, 2025. A chart can help identify activity in a defined market or category; it does not establish what critics or editors consider the year’s best.

For a streaming-based discovery route, Anghami also has a separate 100-song “Top Arabic 2025” playlist. It is not the source of Rolling Stone MENA’s selections, and its larger track count does not make it a competing version of the same editorial exercise.

The National published a separate 50-song year-end selection on December 19, 2025, presented in chronological order. Its coverage describes music spanning pop, hip-hop, indie, and electronic sounds from Morocco, Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine, and the Gulf. The publication says Al Akhras’s “Skaba” became Spotify’s most-streamed song in Lebanon; that is The National’s account, not a claim established here from Spotify’s own chart data. It also describes Ammar 808’s “Ah Yallila” as combining Tunisian mezoued with electronic production.
Rank #3
These lists are best compared by what they set out to do: Rolling Stone MENA offers 75 editorial picks and a companion playlist, while The National’s 50 selections are ordered chronologically. Neither should be read as a single region-wide consensus or a like-for-like streaming chart.
