Paige DeSorbo announced on June 5, 2025, that she would not return to Summer House after Season 9. She has not announced a comeback. In later comments, she expressed doubt about returning to the kind of reality television Bravo makes, while leaving open the possibility of other television work.
When did Paige DeSorbo leave Summer House?
Bravo reported on June 5, 2025, that DeSorbo would not return after Season 9. She joined the series in Season 3 and described her time on it as a rewarding chapter that had reached its close. Bravo’s departure announcement was about her decision not to return for the next season, not a temporary absence with a stated return date.
Why did she decide to leave?
In an August 10, 2025, Bravo report about her appearance on the Bravo by Gays podcast, DeSorbo said she had considered leaving for months. By spring, she felt she needed time away and did not think she could physically film another season. “I really need time off. I don’t physically think I could film Summer House,” she said. Bravo’s interview report also quoted her saying she would not have felt authentic filming that summer. She had been working heavily and no longer wanted to spend Friday and Saturday nights going out.
DeSorbo also said she believed a younger woman should have the opportunity she had received. Her comments described personal reasons for stepping away; they did not point to a dispute or say that she had been removed from the show.

Has Paige said she will return to Bravo reality TV?
Her comments distinguish a possible future in television from a return to Summer House or a similar ensemble reality series. In August 2025, she said, “I would never say never because I love being on TV. I love production. I love the entertainment industry.” But she also said she needed a break and did not then see herself returning to a similar reality show that follows her life.
In a September 13, 2026, report about her appearance on The Morgan Stewart Show, Reality Blurb quoted her as doubtful that she could return to reality TV in the way Bravo films it, while again avoiding an absolute no: “I think being off of reality TV — I never want to say never — but I don’t think I could ever go back in the capacity that Bravo films reality.” Reality Blurb’s report reflects those later comments; it is not a casting announcement.

Does her reported project with Hannah Berner mean she is coming back?
No. A September 23, 2026, Just Jared report on DeSorbo’s Variety interview describes a scripted series with Hannah Berner. That is a different format from Summer House and does not establish that DeSorbo will return to the Bravo series. Just Jared’s report also quoted her reflecting on the break: “I think everyone needs a break from being perceived.” She mentioned missing the filming-related excuse to buy outfits, but that comment alone does not signal that she wants to resume filming.
