Bonus tracks depend on the edition
“The Manuscript” was listed as a bonus track in GMA’s initial announcement coverage, which described a 17-track edition. GRAMMY.com also reports special editions named for “The Black Dog,” “The Albatross,” “The Bolter,” and “The Manuscript”; each includes its titular bonus track. These are edition-specific additions, not part of the standard 16-song sequence. Track-title capitalization and punctuation can vary across listings, so check the named edition when comparing a particular release.
GRAMMY.com reports that physical copies include an original Stevie Nicks poem. The cited coverage does not establish current stock or prices, so a physical listing should be checked for its exact edition and included bonus track.

How to identify the version you mean
“The track list” can refer to more than one release. To compare versions or confirm a listing, check these details:
- Track count: 16 for the standard sequence, or 31 for the Anthology listing.
- Bonus song: Some special editions add a different titled track, including “The Manuscript,” “The Black Dog,” “The Albatross,” or “The Bolter.”
- Format and exact edition: Confirm whether a listing is for a physical or streaming release and read its stated version rather than assuming all editions have the same contents.
What the titles do—and do not—confirm
Track names alone do not establish who or what a song is about. Coverage and fan discussion have offered interpretations of songs such as “So Long, London” and “Clara Bow,” but those readings should not be presented as confirmed facts about Swift’s private life. The announcement artwork included the text “All’s fair in love and poetry…” and “I love you, it’s ruining my life”; those lines are artwork text, not an explanation of the songs’ subjects.
