Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stepped out for dinner in New York on September 6, 2026, in complementary striped looks that shared a warm fall palette. Marie Claire described the outing as the couple’s first public date night as a married couple.
Where and when they went out
Swift and Kelce dined at Ambassadors Clubhouse, an Indian restaurant in New York’s NoMad neighborhood. ELLE described the dinner as their first public sighting together since July; Marie Claire framed it as their first public date night as a married couple.
ELLE reported, citing a source, that two men joined them in the restaurant’s main dining area. Neither Swift nor Kelce is quoted in the coverage about the dinner.
How their outfits coordinated
Taylor Swift’s striped dress
Marie Claire identified Swift’s outfit as a silk-blend Stella McCartney halter-neck maxi dress with diagonal stripes in brown and metallic gold. She accessorized with a brown Stella McCartney bucket bag and Aquazzura Twist sandals.

Travis Kelce’s understated stripes
Kelce wore an ivory short-sleeve shirt with subtle stripes, according to Marie Claire. ELLE adds that he paired it with brown pants and checkered shoes.
Complementary, not identical
The connection between the outfits was visual: stripes and a restrained palette of ivory, brown, and gold suited the fall season. Swift’s diagonal-striped halter maxi and Kelce’s subtly striped shirt differed in pattern scale and silhouette, so the looks read as coordinated rather than matching head to toe. The coverage does not establish whether they planned the coordination.
