Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl cover shows her submerged in water in a bedazzled outfit, framed by orange and mint-green styling. Swift revealed the artwork and album details in August 2025; the album was released on October 3, 2025.
What the album cover looks like
The primary artwork, identified by GRAMMY.com as the “Sweat and Vanilla Perfume Edition,” depicts Swift underwater in a sparkling, bedazzled outfit. The image uses orange and mint-green tones. The Associated Press also described Swift as submerged in water and noted the orange-and-mint palette.
That image is the primary cover—not a label for every edition’s artwork. Swift’s rollout included other cover variants, some offered for a limited time during the announcement period. Those past offers do not establish that a variant is currently in stock.
What Swift revealed about the album
Swift first named the album on her website, then shared the artwork and further details during an August 2025 appearance on New Heights, the podcast hosted by Travis and Jason Kelce. The announcement included the October 3 release date, the tracklist and producer credits.

Swift described the record’s perspective as a look at her private experience during the tour: “And this album is about what was going on behind the scenes in my inner life during this tour, which was so exuberant, and electric, and vibrant.” The statement was made in her New Heights interview, as reported by GRAMMY.com.
Tracklist, collaborators and runtime
The original album has 12 tracks. Max Martin and Shellback are credited as producers, and Sabrina Carpenter appears on the closing title track.

Physical editions and availability
Physical releases have edition-specific artwork and extras. For example, the official UK Taylor Swift Store lists a CD edition with collectible front and back cover art, disc artwork, a poster and an eight-page booklet. That product page restricts billing and shipping addresses to the UK and Ireland and says the item is available while supplies last. These terms apply to that store listing, not to every edition or retailer.
