No confirmed report says Tatiana Maslany is out as She-Hulk. The latest status located is that Marvel had no current plans for a second season of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law as of TVLine’s June 8, 2026 report. That is not an announcement that Maslany has been fired, recast, or permanently ruled out of the MCU.
Is Tatiana Maslany out as She-Hulk?
There is no confirmed announcement that Maslany has left the role. Disney’s official series introduction identifies her as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk, the lawyer at the center of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The available reporting does not establish a recast or a decision to bar her from future Marvel appearances. Disney’s series introduction

The headline claim that her MCU future is “sealed” goes beyond what the reporting supports. Not having a project announced is different from being definitively out of the franchise.
What did the June 2026 report say about season two?
TVLine reported on June 8, 2026, that there were no current plans for a second season. Its wording describes Marvel’s plans at that time; it is not an official permanent-cancellation announcement and does not rule out a later MCU appearance. TVLine’s June 8, 2026 report
#1 Best Overall
In the same report, Marvel executive Brad Winderbaum called She-Hulk “one of our best performing shows.” The report gives no underlying metric, timeframe, or comparison set, so the remark cannot be treated as a quantified ranking or as evidence that a second season is planned.
What has Maslany said about returning?
In May 2026 coverage of a Radio Times interview, CinemaBlend quoted Maslany saying she loved the character and Jessica Gao’s work on the series. She added that if there were a fitting place for She-Hulk to return, she would not know about Marvel’s plans and thought the internet might learn before she did. CinemaBlend’s May 26, 2026 coverage
Those comments convey affection for the role and conditional openness to a return, not confirmation of a project or casting decision. They also do not amount to a statement that she has quit.
Did Maslany turn down She-Hulk?
ComicBook.com reported in February 2026 that Maslany responded to questions about her joking “turned it down” remarks with “You’ll never know,” then said, “You’ll never know. I don’t know. Do you know? I don’t know.” The outlet characterized the preceding comments as tongue-in-cheek. That exchange is not evidence that Marvel made a real offer that she declined. What is confirmed about the series?
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is a Marvel Studios comedy series on Disney+, with Maslany playing Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who handles superhuman clients. Disney’s description names Jessica Gao as head writer and executive producer. The Television Academy describes the first season as nine episodes, shaped by comic-inspired fourth-wall breaks and meta humor. Television Academy’s series feature
The character has a longer history in comics, but that background does not identify a specific planned screen project. It provides context for the character, not proof of an MCU return.

What could happen next?
Based on the information reported through June 2026, the outcome remains open rather than settled:
- A second season: TVLine reported no current plans for one as of June 8, 2026.
- A one-off MCU appearance: Maslany has expressed conditional openness, but no specific appearance is confirmed.
- A casting change: No confirmed recast was established in the cited reporting.
Any later renewal, crossover, or casting announcement would change the picture. Until Marvel or a reliable new report confirms one, “Maslany is out” is not a supported conclusion.
