What is the Lamborghini Tecnomar 63?
The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is a yacht developed by Tecnomar in collaboration with Lamborghini’s design team. It is not a Lamborghini-built car adapted for water: Tecnomar, part of The Italian Sea Group, is identified as the builder, while Lamborghini Centro Stile and Tecnomar Centro Stile are credited with the design. Tecnomar’s model page describes the design as a translation of Lamborghini styling and heritage into a yacht. The page quotes The Italian Sea Group Art Director Gian Marco Campanino: “We never aimed to replicate a car. Our purpose was to translate Lamborghini’s iconic lines and heritage into a yacht.”
The model name’s “63” refers to the limited-edition project and Lamborghini’s founding year, 1963, as described in the company’s 2021 launch announcement. It is not the current listed maximum speed. Lamborghini’s announcement describes the yacht as 63 feet long, while Tecnomar’s current model specification lists its length as 20 metres.

These specifications come from different manufacturer pages and announcements, so their units and contexts should not be conflated. In particular, 63 feet in Lamborghini’s launch announcement and 20 metres in Tecnomar’s current table are separately reported length figures. Similarly, the current Tecnomar table lists 60 knots maximum and 40 knots cruising speed; “63” is not a speed figure.
How much did Conor McGregor’s yacht cost?
MMA Fighting reported in July 2021 that McGregor’s Tecnomar 63 cost $3.6 million. That is a media-reported price, not a published manufacturer list price or a confirmed transaction price: the official product sources reviewed do not establish what McGregor paid. It should not be treated as a current valuation or evidence that the yacht is for sale. MMA Fighting’s 2021 report is the source for the reported amount.

What is known about McGregor’s yacht?
AS USA reported in 2020 that McGregor had announced he secured hull number 12, linking the number to his Proper No. Twelve brand. This is an attributed report of his post; the official manufacturer material reviewed does not independently confirm the hull number. AS USA’s report is the source for that account.
Current ownership and present-day market value are not established by these sources. The manufacturer pages also disagree on how many units were launched: Tecnomar’s model page says 63, while its fleet listing says 36. Because the official listings conflict, neither figure should be presented as a settled completed-production count.

Why the yacht is described as a supercar on the water
The comparison is about styling and brand identity, not a claim that the yacht is a car or performs like one. Lamborghini’s 2021 launch announcement presented the collaboration as carrying the marque’s design character into a yacht. Stefano Rutigliano, then Strategy Director of Automobili Lamborghini, said: “We are proud to see the essence of Lamborghini DNA that today sets out to sail the sea with the same attitude of our super sports cars that race across the asphalt.” The yacht itself remains a Tecnomar vessel, with the builder’s listed engine, speed and capacity specifications.
