Deadline reported four new series regulars for Sullivan’s Crossing Season 4: Fuad Ahmed, Jonathan Silverman, Colby Frost and Emerson MacNeil. CTV’s later official announcement named their characters but described the parts as guest-starring roles. Here’s who they play—and why the billing needs that distinction.
Who are the new cast members in Sullivan’s Crossing Season 4?
CTV’s February 25, 2026 announcement identified four additions and their characters:

- Fuad Ahmed as Amir Malik: Rob’s mentor and friend, and a Michelin-star chef.
- Jonathan Silverman as Quincy Carlson: a disgruntled guest at the Crossing.
- Colby Frost as Ben Nelson: Tracy Nelson’s brother.
- Emerson MacNeil as Tracy Nelson: Ben Nelson’s sister.
These descriptions and character names are from Bell Media’s Season 4 announcement.
Are the four actors series regulars or guest stars?
The wording differs by source and date. Deadline reported on September 25, 2025, that Ahmed, Silverman, Frost and MacNeil were joining as new series regulars. CTV’s later official announcement calls their parts guest-starring roles. The most precise description is therefore: Deadline reported them as series regulars; CTV later classified their Season 4 roles as guest-starring. The available announcements do not establish that the billing changed, so the two labels should not be treated as a single confirmed status. The IMDb reproduction of the Deadline report carries the earlier report.

Is Sullivan’s Crossing based on books?
Yes. Showrunner Roma Roth adapts the television series from Robyn Carr’s Sullivan’s Crossing book series. The season announcements do not identify a particular novel as the direct source for Season 4, so the show should not be mapped to a specific volume based on these details alone. Bell Media and Netflix Tudum’s cast guide identify the book-series connection.

Yes. The CW announced in July 2026 that Season 5 had been picked up for ten episodes and was expected in 2027. That is renewal news, separate from Season 4’s casting and release details; see The CW’s announcements.
