When Swift arrived in Melbourne
PerthNow reported on 14 February 2024 that Swift’s flight was expected to arrive shortly after midnight, following a stop in Honolulu that the outlet characterized as a fuel stop. The report places her arrival in Melbourne on 15 February. Neither the Hawaii stop’s purpose nor the flight itinerary was confirmed in an official statement from Swift or her representatives.
When and where the Australian shows took place
The arrival date was not the first concert date. Frontier Touring’s schedule lists the Australian run opening at Melbourne’s Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on 16 February 2024, with three shows on consecutive nights.

Melbourne Airport’s February travel figures
Melbourne Airport reported 915,456 international travellers in February 2024, equivalent to 102% of its previous busiest February, recorded in 2019. It also reported 2,859,942 total passengers for the month. The airport said travel demand was boosted by fans attending events featuring Swift, Pink and Blink-182, as well as the leap year’s extra day. The monthly totals therefore reflect several factors, not Swift’s concerts alone.
In discussing airport facilities, CEO Lorie Argus said the airport had begun work on upgrades, including a $500 million investment in a new baggage system and an arrivals-hall refresh. She also said the airport was working with the Australian Border Force to streamline busy international-arrival periods.
