Ghosts Season 5, Episode 11, “The Others,” brings a new group of spirits onto the Woodstone property: members of Flower’s former commune, who have been living in a bunker. The available episode coverage identifies the newcomers and their leader, but does not establish the specific change to the show’s ghost rules promised by the original headline.
What happens in “The Others”?
The midseason episode introduces Flower’s former commune members as a group of “dirt ghosts” associated with Patience, according to the spoiler-marked Collider excerpt reproduced by IMDb. They have been hidden in a bunker on the Woodstone property. A CBS-attributed episode synopsis excerpt likewise describes Sam and the ghosts encountering a new group of spirits from one ghost’s past.

Who leads the new group?
The TV Insider excerpt reproduced by IMDb identifies Bruce as the group’s leader. It says Flower plans to free her friends from his influence, giving the episode a conflict tied to Flower’s history with the commune.
Does the episode change Ghosts’ rules?
The available reporting does not specify a new boundary, ability, or other ghost mechanic, nor does it explain the practical consequences of a rule change. The evidence supports describing “The Others” as a shake-up to the cast of spirits and to Flower’s personal story—not as a confirmed rewrite of how ghost powers or limits work.

Is Ghosts really TV’s “#1 sitcom”?
The headline’s “#1” label is not substantiated by a ranking, measurement method, market, or time period in the available coverage. It should be read as headline framing rather than a verified industry ranking.
