In the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer, Spider-Man appears to use a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip-series phone. The exact model is not confirmed: SamMobile’s visual assessment favors the Galaxy Z Flip 6 over the Z Flip 7, based on the handset’s silver camera rings.
What Spider-Man does with the phone in the trailer
SamMobile reports that the trailer opens with Spider-Man dangling from a skyscraper while using the phone. He sets it face down on a metal surface, picks it up, and scrolls through Instagram Reels featuring videos of Ned and MJ.

The outlet also observes that the inner-display selfie-camera cutout appears to have been erased from the footage. That is SamMobile’s observation; the reason for the apparent edit is not established.
Which Samsung phone is it?
SamMobile says the visible handset is likely either a Galaxy Z Flip 6 or Galaxy Z Flip 7. The report’s author, Senior Editor Asif Iqbal Shaik, writes: “While the exact model is not confirmed, it is likely either the Galaxy Z Flip 6 or the Galaxy Z Flip 7.”

| Possible model | Evidence in SamMobile’s report | Confirmation status |
|---|---|---|
| Galaxy Z Flip 6 | SamMobile favors it because of the prominent silver camera rings visible on the handset. | Not confirmed by the report. |
| Galaxy Z Flip 7 | Included by SamMobile as another possible match. | Not confirmed by the report. |
The distinction matters: the trailer detail supports identifying the device as a Galaxy Z Flip-series phone, but the specific generation remains a visual guess attributed to SamMobile—not a confirmed production detail.

SamMobile’s report identifies the handset in the trailer as a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip-series device. The available information does not independently confirm the identification, explain the apparent removal of the selfie-camera cutout, or establish whether Samsung had a product-placement agreement with the film. It is therefore safest to treat this as a reported on-screen appearance, not proof of a formal partnership.
