Split Enz announced the Forever Enz Tour after reuniting at Christchurch’s Electric Avenue Festival in February 2026. The announced schedule covered New Zealand and Australia, with the final listed date in Adelaide on May 25. All dates have passed; the tour is best understood now as a significant reunion in the band’s history, not an active ticketing opportunity.
Why Split Enz reunited
Neil Finn’s official announcement described the Electric Avenue performance as Split Enz’s first show in 17 years and its 1,000th gig, played before 45,000 fans. These are figures reported by the artist’s website, rather than independently verified attendance or performance totals. Neil Finn’s March 2, 2026 announcement framed the show as the starting point for the Forever Enz dates.

Neil Finn described the reunion as a return to his musical beginnings: “Split Enz was my first band, my initiation into the magic of music and collaboration. It feels very special to be reuniting with that feeling and reigniting the flame. We’ll be in top form I know it, out of respect for the songs and our audience.”
Tim Finn offered a characteristically playful note about the band’s plans: “Aotearoa, rugged individual!” We’re looking forward to climbing into our new Noel Crombie suits and seeing you all soon. The songs are sounding shiny and new… “if music be the food of love, Split Enz are the silverware!”

What the tour’s songbook represents
Spark Arena’s event listing says Split Enz formed in New Zealand in 1972 and relocated to Australia in 1975. The band was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2005. The venue listing identifies familiar songs including “I Got You,” “I See Red,” “Message to My Girl,” “Six Months in a Leaky Boat,” “History Never Repeats” and “One Step Ahead.”
The same listing describes True Colours as a 1980 number-one album, says it reached multiple-platinum status in New Zealand and was certified 5× platinum in Australia, and reports sales above 250,000 copies. Those chart and sales figures are attributable to Spark Arena’s listing, not presented here as independently checked certifications. Spark Arena’s event listing also notes that the catalogue is being reissued through the ENZyclopedia series, whose first installment appeared in November 2025.

Can you still buy tickets?
No announced Forever Enz Tour date is upcoming: the listed schedule ended on May 25, 2026. Those are details of past event listings, not an indication that tickets or packages remain available.
Where to find the archival releases
For listeners more interested in the music than the past concerts, Neil Finn’s official site announced ENZyclopedia Volumes One & Two in 5-CD and 3-LP formats. The release was described as containing remixes, rare singles and unreleased material. The announcement does not establish current stock, retailer pricing or availability, so check a retailer directly before purchasing.
