Spider-Man: No Way Home’s 2022 re-release, titled The More Fun Stuff Version, adds over 11 minutes of new footage, according to Sony Pictures. The extended version adds character moments, comedy and connective scenes across the film, with extra material at Midtown High, during the Damage Control proceedings, and in a longer exchange between the three Spider-Men. Its new post-credits segment replaces the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness teaser.
What does the extended version add?
Sony describes the edition as containing “over 11 minutes of new footage, including deleted scenes.” That is the official figure; Sony does not give a more precise total. The additions are distributed throughout the film rather than forming one uninterrupted sequence. The scene-by-scene details below are reported in GamesRadar’s guide to the released edition, not an exhaustive checklist published by Sony.
New and extended scenes in the film
Peter faces the public as Spider-Man
An added street-level scene shows Peter catching a thief played by Tom Holland’s brother, Harry Holland. The moment also shows the backlash Peter faces: an onlooker throws green paint and shouts “Mysterio forever.”
More time at Midtown High
In a gym-class scene, Coach Wilson pushes Peter to demonstrate his abilities. Betty Brant interviews faculty and students, including Flash and Ned, and her school-news-show framing gets more room.

A caller challenges the story on the Daily Bugle
An additional broadcast segment features a caller describing the fight involving Electro and Sandman. J. Jonah Jameson challenges the caller’s account, then cuts them off.
Ned and MJ prepare in the Sanctum
An added Undercroft montage shows Ned and MJ getting ready to round up the villains at the Sanctum Sanctorum. It includes a miniature Sanctum gag.

The villains share Peter’s elevator ride
Peter, May and the villains ride an elevator together on the way to Happy’s building. The extra scene plays on the awkwardness of having them all confined in the same space.
More interrogation and legal proceedings
The extended version includes additional interrogation material involving Peter, May and Ned, plus a hearing sequence in which Matt Murdock represents Happy.

The three Spider-Men talk longer
Before the final battle, Peter Parker’s three incarnations have a longer conversation about the villains they have faced, organic web-shooters and their experiences as Spider-Man. It adds character interplay rather than changing the central course of the story.
The new post-credits scene
Spoiler: The extended version ends with a new “Betty’s Corner” segment on Midtown News. Betty Brant presents class photos and memories; Peter is absent or obscured in the images. The scene suggests that the spell’s effects extend to photographs of him. It takes the place of the theatrical version’s teaser for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The added material is primarily character-focused, comedic and connective. Sony’s description and the reported scene list do not establish that it substantially changes the film’s central plot.
Where to find the extended edition
Sony’s official film page lists digital retailers, including Prime Video, and separately links to Amazon for home-video purchases. Availability varies by region and can change; a Prime Video regional listing may show the title as unavailable. A retailer link alone does not establish that a particular Blu-ray or other physical edition contains the extended cut, so check the product listing for the format and edition before buying.
