In 2007, he joined One Tree Hill as Chase Adams. Peacock describes his role as beginning on a recurring basis before he became a series regular for the show’s final two seasons, spanning six years on the series according to its account. The transition took him from unscripted reality television into a continuing scripted role.
What he did after One Tree Hill
He kept acting
After One Tree Hill, Colletti was cast in VH1’s Hit the Floor, according to Peacock. He later took on another part of television production: creating and starring in Everyone Is Doing Great with his former One Tree Hill colleague James Lafferty.

He created a comedy about life after a hit show
Everyone Is Doing Great follows Seth Stewart, an actor trying to find work and regain his footing after the hit series that made him famous ends. The premise echoes a familiar challenge for performers whose careers are closely associated with one successful show. Us Weekly reported that Colletti wrote, produced, and co-starred in the series, which Hulu picked up in 2021. Peacock describes it as running for two seasons.
He returned to his Laguna Beach years in a podcast
Colletti co-hosted Back to the Beach with Kristin Cavallari. The podcast revisited episodes of Laguna Beach and discussed their context and making. Dear Media’s show page lists 45 episodes, including a series finale.
What he is doing now
In 2026, Colletti’s on-screen work included a return to reality competition television as a season 4 participant on The Traitors. In a Bustle interview published February 13, 2026, he explained that he accepted because he feared he would regret passing up the chance to play the game. He also said he chose One Tree Hill as his identifying credit because it was the more recent show and, in his view, would be more widely recognized.
He also took part in The Reunion: Laguna Beach. TV Insider’s April 11, 2026 interview covered his reunion appearance; it is evidence of a reunion, not a scripted revival of the original series.

Is Stephen Colletti joining the One Tree Hill reboot?
Colletti has not confirmed that he is involved. Asked about the reboot by Bustle in February 2026, he said, “You know as much as me. I wish I had more information because I’m curious too.” He described it as exciting that something was in development, while noting that development takes time and expressing hope it would move forward.
That interview establishes only that Colletti understood a project to be in development at that time. It does not confirm his attachment, a production start, the cast, a platform, or a release date.

Personal life updates
TV Insider/Swooon reported on April 11, 2026, that Colletti had married Alex Weaver in October 2025 and that they were expecting their first child at the time of the interview.
