The “95 matches” figure is a snapshot from April 2023, not a current count. PerthNow reported that Married at First Sight Australia had aired ten seasons since 2015 and that 95 couples had married on the show, excluding partner swaps. Later reports confirm several couples continued their relationships well beyond filming, while Erin Bateman and Bryce Mohr later split. The available reporting does not establish a complete list of every couple still together today.
What “seven years and 95 matches” means
PerthNow’s April 2, 2023 retrospective counted 95 couples across ten seasons of the Australian series since its 2015 launch. Its count excluded partner swaps on and off screen, so it should not be read as a current tally or as a count of every pairing viewers saw during filming. PerthNow’s original article also described the success rate as about five per cent, while excluding two couples it said were reportedly still together from that season. That was the publication’s estimate at the time—not an independently calculated, comprehensive measure or a current rate.

Couples later reports identified as still together
Later coverage names four couples whose relationships endured well beyond the experiment. These are reported examples, not an exhaustive, live roster; the dates and details below reflect the cited coverage.
| Couple | What later coverage reports | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant | The Australian Women’s Weekly overview reports that they have two children; Carter was born in 2024. | The Australian Women’s Weekly |
| Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli | Named among the couples whose relationship continued beyond filming in later coverage. | The Australian Women’s Weekly |
| Melissa Rawson and Bryce Ruthven | Named among the couples whose relationship continued beyond filming in later coverage. | The Australian Women’s Weekly |
| Kerry Knight and Johnny Balbuziente | Nine’s relationship timeline reports they married in 2023 and welcomed daughter Chloe in June 2024. | Nine |
The cited articles support these milestones and relationship descriptions, but they do not verify every couple’s status as of October 8, 2026. A final-vows choice on the program also does not, by itself, establish that a couple remained together afterward.

Are Erin Bateman and Bryce Mohr still together?
No. The Australian Women’s Weekly reported in 2026 that Erin Bateman confirmed her split from Bryce Mohr. That later update means they should not be described as a continuing couple based on an older list. Read the report.

MAFS relationship updates change after filming, and an article’s original count or status list can become outdated. The 95-couple figure and the roughly five per cent estimate belong to PerthNow’s April 2023 account, with its stated counting method and exclusions. Subsequent coverage adds relationship and family milestones, as well as the Bateman–Mohr split. The sources cited here do not establish a complete list of all Australian MAFS couples still together on October 8, 2026, so any broader claim would overstate what is confirmed.
