Silvia Colloca and Richard Roxburgh met while working on the 2004 film Van Helsing, in which Roxburgh played Dracula. Colloca later said she moved to Australia for love. An interview with Colloca does not identify a particular gesture or moment when Roxburgh “won her over,” so that detail cannot be confirmed.

When and where they married
Colloca and Roxburgh married in September 2004 at a castle in Rapolano Terme, in the province of Siena, Tuscany, according to the Il Globo interview.
Why Colloca moved to Australia
Colloca described the decision in her own words: “I moved to Australia for love, but I’d never imagined living here.” The interview says she settled in Sydney and raised three children with Roxburgh: Raphael, Miro and Luna. It reports that Luna was born in 2017.

Did Richard Roxburgh make a specific gesture that won her over?
The available Il Globo interview does not describe a specific gesture, proposal or incident that persuaded Colloca to be with Roxburgh. It supports the account that they met on Van Helsing and that she moved to Australia for love; it does not establish the “12 years ago” framing or explain a particular moment when he won her over.
