Who is GG’s baby, and when was he born?
Elijah Javad Gharachedaghi is GG’s son. In its April 28, 2020, birth announcement, Bravo reported that he weighed 6.5 pounds and measured 19.5 inches at birth. GG’s representative, Steve Honig, said, “Everyone is doing great and Golnesa is beyond excited to be a mom and start this new adventure.”
How did GG reveal her son’s name?
At a baby shower at her Los Angeles home on March 1, 2020, GG announced she was expecting a boy named Elijah. The event was attended by cast members from Shahs of Sunset. In Bravo’s report on the name reveal, she explained that she had long liked actor Elijah Wood and that the name also honored her sperm donor, whom she jokingly called her “Donor Daddy.”
What did GG share about her IVF journey?
Bravo’s birth report described an earlier IVF conception that ended in an ectopic pregnancy at about seven weeks. According to that account, emergency surgery removed both of GG’s fallopian tubes; a later round of IVF resulted in the pregnancy with Elijah. Reflecting on the experience to The Daily Dish, GG said, “It was a lot to process, but I came out of it, and I went at it again.”

Did GG plan to raise Elijah as a single mother?
Yes. Before Elijah’s birth, GG said she intended to raise her child on her own and had the support of her family. In comments reported by Bravo from PEOPLE, she said, “But I’m totally choosing this because this is what I want; this is what I’m ready for. I love that.”
In a 2021 update about motherhood, GG described the demands and joy of single parenthood. Bravo quoted her Instagram caption: “Nobody said it was gonna be easy, but Lord, I did not know it would consist of the most amazing love I’ve ever felt.”
