Seven’s Australian dating series Stranded on Honeymoon Island was scheduled to premiere on Monday, June 23, 2025. That date has passed. The series pairs 12 singles into six couples, who marry before spending 21 days together on a deserted island without phones or outside influences.

The format puts newly married couples into an isolated setting and asks them to build a relationship while living together and facing the elements. In the Australian version, 12 singles are paired into six couples. After their wedding ceremonies, they head to a deserted island for a 21-day stay without phones or outside influences, according to Endemol Shine Australia.
Who made the Australian series?
Danish production company Snowman Productions created the international format. Endemol Shine Australia produced the Australian version for the Seven Network, and Jackie O narrates it. Seven.One Studios has described the format as adapted in multiple territories; its September 2024 announcement said the Australian version would air on Seven.
PerthNow reported the June 23, 2025 premiere date on June 16, 2025. The producer’s May 2025 announcement had said the series would premiere in June on Seven and 7plus. Those announcements establish the original broadcast plan, not whether episodes are currently available to stream. Check Seven’s and 7plus’s current listings for viewing information.

What is known about its audience?
The sources reviewed do not establish an Australian audience-rating figure for the series. A launch statistic for the Belgian version, mentioned in Seven’s acquisition announcement, should not be treated as evidence of how the Australian series performed.
