PerthNow reported on 15 April 2018 that Tsun had returned to work the previous day, after three months away. The report said she was then raising two children under two: Zoe was 16 months old and Imogen was 12 weeks old. PerthNow’s 2018 profile describes that return as a moment she was looking forward to.
Tsun joked that “work is easy compared to motherhood, it’s actually a bit of a break really”. The line captured the contrast she made between the demands of caring for young children and getting back to her newsdesk routine.
What did the 2018 profile say about family support?
The profile attributed part of Tsun’s return to support from her husband, property developer Patrick Dellit. It described him as hands-on with bedtimes and bath times, and said Zoe was a caring older sister. Tsun called her, “a beautiful, caring, loving big sister.” These are details reported in 2018, not claims about the family’s current arrangements.

The profile also mentioned the small routines Tsun was pleased to resume for work: having time for a blow-dry and makeup, rather than a hurried routine of mascara, brushing her hair and tinted moisturiser. The story named no product or brand and made no recommendation; the reference was a personal anecdote, not an endorsement.

On 10 January 2026, 7NEWS announced that Tsun and Tim McMillan would present the Perth 6pm bulletin Sunday to Wednesday, with the schedule set to begin on 18 January 2026. Longtime presenters Susannah Carr and Rick Ardon were assigned Thursday to Saturday.
