Yes—Sigourney Weaver is in Star Wars. Lucasfilm identifies her as Colonel Ward in Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, a standalone film that continues the story after the Disney+ series.
Who does Sigourney Weaver play?
Weaver plays Colonel Ward. Lucasfilm’s official production page lists her in the role and credits Jon Favreau as director and co-writer, alongside Dave Filoni and Noah Kloor.
In an interview-based account, Weaver said Favreau understood Ward as belonging to the same generation as Princess Leia. GamesRadar reports that Weaver described Ward as one of the rebels who helped establish the fledgling Republic. That is Weaver’s character context, rather than a separate official biography of Ward.
