Since then, the show’s cast and storylines have shifted across seasons. Netflix’s latest update, published April 29, 2026, confirms a season 10 renewal and the returns of Christine Quinn and Heather Rae El Moussa—but it does not give a complete season 10 cast list. These dated snapshots show what changed without treating an earlier season’s lineup as today’s.
Where the cast’s story begins: Season 1
Chrishell’s arrival as a new agent provides the series’ starting point. Netflix’s official Selling Sunset hub describes that first-season setup and lists seasons 1 through 9. A cast retrospective is clearest when it compares specific seasons: the ensemble and personal storylines changed over time, and not every cast member remained with the brokerage or on the show.

Season 5: The early ensemble in 2022
Netflix’s April 15, 2022 season 5 guide presents Jason and Brett Oppenheim as leaders of the brokerage, with Chrishell, Christine Quinn, Mary Fitzgerald, Amanza Smith, Maya Vander, Davina Potratz, and Vanessa Villela among the agents whose work and personal lives shape the season. The guide is a snapshot of the show’s cast and storylines at that time, not a current staff directory.
In that season’s account, Chrishell balances work with her relationship with Jason, while Christine returns from maternity leave. The other agents have their own professional and personal arcs. The breadth of the ensemble is part of what makes the later lineups look different: the show follows people through changing seasons rather than presenting a fixed roster.

Season 6: New relationships and responsibilities
Netflix’s May 4, 2023 season 6 guide captures a later turning point. Chrishell’s storyline follows her relationship with Australian singer G Flip after her split from Jason. Mary’s role at the brokerage expands, and Heather’s life has moved into marriage to Tarek El Moussa and pregnancy. Netflix also described the season as bringing in two new agents.
These changes show why “then and now” is not one simple before-and-after: the series tracks professional roles and personal milestones at different points, and the season guide describes the cast as it appeared in 2023.

Season 9: The 2025 lineup
In its October 29, 2025 season 9 guide, Netflix named Chrishell Stause, Chelsea Lazkani, Emma Hernan, Nicole Young, Alanna Gold, Mary Bonnet, Amanza Smith, and Bre Tiesi as returning. Sandra Vergara joined The Oppenheim Group; Netflix described her as an entertainment journalist and television personality who had recently secured her realtor license.
This is the season 9 lineup, not a confirmed season 10 cast list. The show’s creator, Adam DiVello, described the season 9 setup as following “a lot of strife in the office and a lot of hurt feelings,” before moving into new stories.

Netflix announced the season 10 renewal on April 29, 2026, and confirmed that Christine Quinn and Heather Rae El Moussa are returning. The announcement presents both as having changed since their earlier appearances, but it does not name the full season 10 cast. It would be inaccurate to carry the season 9 lineup forward as if Netflix had confirmed it for the next season.
Heather described her return this way: “I’ve become a mom, a wife, a business owner, and I finally feel secure enough in who I am to walk back into that world and not lose myself in it.” Christine said, “I’m returning from a very different place, with more perspective, confidence, and clarity.” Those are their reflections on returning, not a complete account of their biographies.

How to read the cast changes
- For the early cast: use season 5 as a dated view of the Oppenheim brothers and the agents whose stories shaped that ensemble.
- For personal milestones: season 6 documents specific changes in Chrishell’s relationship, Mary’s responsibilities, and Heather’s family life.
- For who appeared later: Netflix’s season 9 guide identifies that season’s returning cast and Sandra Vergara’s arrival.
- For the next season: the April 2026 announcement confirms Christine and Heather’s returns, but does not establish a full season 10 roster.
These comparisons rely on Netflix’s official show guides and announcements, which establish what the series said about each season. They are not independent, up-to-the-minute biographies or confirmation that every cast member still works at The Oppenheim Group.
