The announcement presented the track as Gomez’s first single of 2024. It also said she was working on a follow-up to Rare at the time; that detail describes her plans in the February 2024 announcement, not a current update on her album work.

French director Greg Ohrel directed the official music video. The release announcement says it was inspired by Gomez’s love of France, and the video was published on the single’s release date.
