Did the Australian shows go ahead after Changing Tides was cancelled?
Yes. Fender had been due to headline the Changing Tides festival, which was cancelled, but the separate Australian headline tour proceeded. The festival cancellation did not cancel these six dates.
Are Sam Fender Australia tour tickets still available?
No tickets for this 2025 run should be treated as currently available. The shows are past, and Ticketmaster’s artist page now says there are no upcoming concerts. Ticket-sale details published in May 2025—including the scheduled general sale and reports that some dates had sold out—are historical, not current buying advice. Ticketmaster’s archived event page describes arrangements for that tour, not a future event.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How the tour connected to People Watching
The Australian dates were tied to Fender’s album People Watching, which debuted at number one in the UK. Contemporary 2025 coverage also called it the fastest-selling UK album of that year up to that point; that description is time-bounded rather than an ongoing record claim. The artist’s official site lists physical releases including a limited silver 2LP, a “Made In North Shields” 2LP and a double CD, though listings and availability can change.
