How does the album relate to Skank?
Rosa has not framed the solo project as a rejection of his past sound. In an interview with UOL, he said, “Eu quero me experimentar sozinho, mas não ‘reinventando a roda’”—“I want to experiment on my own, but not ‘reinvent the wheel.’” He acknowledged that listeners may hear similarities to Skank because the songwriter, guitarist, and producer behind those associations remain present.
