The segment used the pair’s on-screen storyline, but contemporaneous coverage described the pregnancy as real.
When did Ruby Soho announce she was pregnant?
The segment was taped after the April 17, 2024 episode of AEW Dynamite. It was intended for AEW Rampage and aired on the April 20 episode. F4WOnline reported the taping and planned placement; WrestleTalk’s April 18 report confirmed the taping context and expected broadcast. Wrestleview’s later coverage identifies April 20 as the broadcast date.
Those dates refer to different events: April 17 was when the segment was recorded, while April 20 was when viewers saw it on television.
Was the pregnancy announcement real or part of the storyline?
The announcement was presented within Soho and Parker’s AEW on-screen storyline, but contemporaneous reports described it as news of their real-life pregnancy. The storyline supplied the context for the segment; it did not make the pregnancy fictional.
