Rhonda Wyllie and Jeffrey Browne married at Murray River Farm in Coolup, Western Australia, in 2018. PerthNow described the event as a 300-person wedding and reported that the couple had moved their plans from Ravello, Italy, so their parents would not face a difficult journey.
Who were Rhonda Wyllie and Jeffrey Browne?
Wyllie is part of the family behind Murray River Farm, the property where the wedding was held. Browne was identified in the 2018 report as the former managing director of Nine Network Australia. Their wedding became a prominent Western Australian society event, covered by PerthNow as the “society wedding of the year.”

The couple married at Murray River Farm in Coolup, about 100 kilometres south of Perth, according to PerthNow’s April 1, 2018 report. That article put the property’s area at 1,526 hectares; both figures are as reported at the time, not independently verified measurements.
They had initially planned a wedding in Ravello, Italy. Browne said they chose Perth instead because it would have been difficult for their parents to travel to Italy. The farm also hosted a recovery brunch the following day; PerthNow reported that about 250 guests were expected to attend.

How did the couple meet, and what was the cake connection?
PerthNow reported that Wyllie and Browne met on a blind date at the 2013 Logie Awards. That meeting became a motif at the wedding: an edible Logie sat atop the three-tier cake. Browne told The Sunday Times ahead of the nuptials, “We have had an edible Logie made that will sit on top of the three-tier wedding cake.” He added, “We thought that was quite symbolic because that is what brought us together.”
What happened at the wedding?
PerthNow described a 300-person celebration at the farm. Wyllie wore a custom J’Aton gown for the ceremony, then changed into a pink gown for the reception. Her custom rose-gold headpiece featured lily of the valley and pearls.

Close friend Neale Fong officiated, and Eddie McGuire was master of ceremonies. After dinner, Boy George performed with a band, including “Karma Chameleon,” “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me” and “It’s a Miracle,” according to the report.

The wedding is a historical event, not an indication of the couple’s current relationship status. The West Australian reported on December 11, 2021, that Wyllie and Browne had separated.
