The review’s interpretation is not that every song offers uplift. Rather, it finds a tension between sonic aggression and personal candor: the record can challenge its targets while making room for identity and self-affirmation.

How should readers place this review in the band’s catalog?
This is a January 2025 assessment of the debut, not a current review of everything Lambrini Girls have released since. The band’s official shop now lists physical formats and merchandise for No Refunds, and Roskilde Festival’s artist page presents that record as a later, darker follow-up. That later context does not establish how Dolan’s assessment of Who Let the Dogs Out should be revised.
